The Uncanny Valley is an educational motion explainer exploring the psychological phenomenon where humanoid entities evoke feelings of unease and revulsion.

Rather than taking a purely clinical or scientific approach, this explainer examines the uncanny valley through the lens of body grotesquerie, digital alienation, and contemporary conspiracy mythologies.

The visual style plays with the boundaries of human anatomy — shifting synthetic skin, unnatural physical proportions, and hyper-polished surfaces to evoke instinctual discomfort and somatic tension.The narrative playfully deconstructs internet mythology and conspiracy folklore surrounding the global elite (such as the reptilian trope), framing the hyper-wealthy as robotic, alien, and detached from human empathy.

A conceptual main title sequence for Joel and Ethan Coen’s neo-western thriller No Country for Old Men. The project’s objective was to rethink the opening narrative, translating the film’s themes of fatalism, moral desolation, and inevitable violence into a cohesive typographic and cinematic language.

The visual identity of the sequence is built entirely on symbolic metaphors derived from the film’s narrative, translated into a slow, oppressive atmosphere of looming inevitability. Through continuous, fluid morphing animations, silhouette forms dissolve and mutate into one another, reflecting the fatalistic entanglement of the characters.

Archetypal silhouettes shift dynamically — a sheriff’s hat smoothly morphs into the skull of a bull, representing Sheriff Bell and Anton Chigurh, while living bovine imagery embodies Llewelyn Moss as the hunted prey.Elements bleed and transform continuously, such as liquid blood resolving into the hard contours of coins, visualizing the transaction of violence and fate.A searing palette of burnt ochre, amber, and deep dusk tones mirrors the unforgiving Texas desert, contrasted with heavy negative space and dense shadows to maintain sustained psychological tension

Inledger.archive is an independent digital archive dedicated to cataloging and preserving historical photographs of North American Indigenous cultures sourced from public American library collections. The primary objective was to build a comprehensive visual identity and craft a promotional video that bridges archival historical documentation with contemporary tactile animation.
