Project Description: Despite the significance of Japanese culture in Japan itself, there is currently no surviving example of the Gosineihoandendo temple. Because of this, we have decided to create a unique Japanese garden project on this site, which will not only attract tourism to our city but also raise the level of cultural and historical enlightenment among the residents of the Sakhalin region. We plan to use this space for local history lessons, classroom activities, and small events.
Quantitative results: 2,000 participants
Tangible Outcomes: The project united people around the idea of caring for nature, strengthened partnerships, and inspired new volunteers. Participants' environmental literacy increased, and sustainable habits of responsible behavior and mutual aid were formed.
Project Goal: Our aim is to advance environmental education while actively working on projects to restore ecosystems and conserve forests. We strive to unite society, business, and government to achieve
Project Plans: — developing an improved environment for municipal residents, including spaces for short breaks and walks; — creating an educational space for city students — and improving the ecological conditions within the municipal area through greening and site beautification.
