I’m Nikita — a multidisciplinary designer focused on visual identity, editorial design, and motion.
[about me]

My work starts with a simple question: how do we make this idea clear and impossible to ignore? To answer it, I mix strict typographic grids with hands-on experiments in lettering, illustration, and physical materials. I don’t believe in decorating for the sake of it; every visual choice has to do a specific job.

LAVACHA
[lettering]
A 10-part conceptual lettering series for a fictional Kamchatka volcano-boarding brand. The design fuses the rugged tectonics of the Avachinsky stratovolcano with the rigid, brutalist geometry of St. Petersburg panel architecture.

The name «Lavacha» merges «Lava» and «Avacha» (an active volcano in Kamchatka). It conveys the extreme experience of sliding down a live volcano, where a person doesn’t just observe Kamchatka, but comes into direct physical contact with it.

Geotype
[typographic interview]
The project is an explainer video structured as a typographic journey through the work of Vladimir Anosov—a designer whose practice is closely linked to the themes of the road and movement. Through the use of rhythmic typography and visual dynamism, the video reveals his perspective on travel as a form of personal expression.

In our work, we decided to combine the concept of writing as a form of expression with the theme of movement, posing questions through a series of custom typographic «messages.»

Masterwide
[media for a brand]
Project Context
The objective is to develop a cohesive visual identity for the upcoming Masterwide rave event. The primary challenge is to eliminate the current visual chaos by organizing all promotional materials into a unified design system, all while preserving the raw, underground energy of the project.
Required Deliverables
The scope includes a key visual, serving as the foundational poster with adaptations tailored for Telegram and social media platforms to communicate essential event details. A motion design pack is also required, featuring a dynamic promo and a comprehensive announcement video that reveals the concept and timetable.
